About

Many of you know me from my @BeautyByAshleyPulido Instagram and TikTok accounts. I’m a Colorado-based hairstylist with over 7 years of experience in the industry.

Before I started posting consistently on social media, I spent years building my career behind the chair. Since 2018, I’ve worked with clients in all kinds of settings: in beauty school, as an assistant to master stylists, in commission and booth-rental salons, and now in my own private salon suite.

I’m incredibly grateful for the diverse, loyal clientele I get to work with. They’ve trusted me with everything from simple color retouches to full transformations. That trust has pushed me to continually refine my skills and grow as a stylist.

A lot of my clients come in with dark natural tones and leave with everything from bright blondes and bold vivids to rich, warm brunettes. Those years of working one-on-one to bring their hair goals to life have taught me patience in the process, helped me step outside my comfort zone, and ultimately given me the skill set to grow my business and start sharing what I’ve learned.

I’m a big believer in practicing compounding habits that prioritize my client’s hair goals and expand my skills as a stylist. Some stylists may feel intimidated by drastic lifting on darker tones because they don’t have the experience to clearly guide them safely through the process.

Over time, I’ve found clarity in my own approach, which in-turn has given me the confidence to take on full transformations. Specifically, I’ve learned which combinations of techniques, tools, and the right products reliably produce the results my clients are looking for.

This library of fundamentals continues to grow, and I’m excited to pull the curtain back on the process versus only showing before and after’s. My hope is that Lift Hair Academy support fellow stylists who want to grow and gain:
