PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
By purchasing a seat for Mastering Blonding, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by the following Terms & Conditions, Waiver & Release, and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”).
Completion of your purchase constitutes your electronic acknowledgment, acceptance, and agreement to all terms contained in this Agreement. No additional signature is required.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not purchase or attend Mastering Blonding.
1. ABOUT MASTERING BLONDING
Mastering Blonding is an intimate, in-person educational and mentorship experience provided by Lift Hair Academy (“Lift Hair Academy,” “LHA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The class is intentionally limited to approximately 8 attendees to create a more personal, supportive, and interactive educational environment.
The experience may include:
A 5–6 hour live blonding demonstration
Consultation and hair assessment education
Blonding techniques and placement
Formulation, lightener, developer, and product education
Processing and troubleshooting
Toning and understanding undertones
Root melts and finishing
Aftercare and maintenance
Social media content creation
How to film yourself behind the chair
Editing tools and content-editing education
Social media posting strategies
Portfolio and clientele development
Ashley’s personal experience pursuing PR lists
Domestic and global brand partnerships
Business and career-development discussion
In-person Q&A
Printed educational handbook
Breakfast and lunch
A curated product gift
Post-class virtual Q&A through Zoom
The purpose of Mastering Blonding is to provide education, inspiration, mentorship, professional insight, and practical information that attendees can use to further develop their skills, confidence, business, and career.
2. EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER
Lift Hair Academy is a mentorship and educational platform and is not:
An accredited beauty school
A licensing authority
A certification program
A continuing education provider
A government-approved licensing organization
Participation does not provide:
A professional license
Certification
Accreditation
Continuing education credits
College credit
Professional credentials
All education presented during Mastering Blonding reflects Ashley Alexis Pulido’s personal experiences, opinions, techniques, methods, product preferences, and professional practices.
Information presented is intended for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional training, licensing requirements, manufacturer instructions, applicable laws, regulations, or your own professional judgment.
3. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
Lift Hair Academy does not guarantee any particular result from attending Mastering Blonding or applying anything learned during the class.
Results will vary based on numerous factors, including:
Hair history
Hair integrity
Previous color or chemical services
Hair type and texture
Porosity
Underlying pigment
Product selection
Application technique
Processing
Client variables
Individual skill and experience
You understand that blonding is not a one-size-fits-all service.
A technique, formula, product, placement, or process demonstrated during class may not be appropriate for every client.
You are solely responsible for determining what is appropriate for your individual clients and circumstances.
4. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY & LICENSURE
Lift Hair Academy does not verify the licensure, certification, training, insurance, or professional status of attendees.
You are solely responsible for:
Maintaining any license required in your jurisdiction
Practicing within your legal scope of practice
Following all applicable laws and regulations
Following manufacturer instructions
Following health and safety requirements
Using appropriate professional judgment
Maintaining appropriate professional liability insurance
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for your professional practice, licensing status, client services, or compliance with applicable laws or regulations.
5. LIVE DEMONSTRATION & CHEMICAL PRODUCTS
Mastering Blonding may involve demonstrations using professional salon products, including:
Lighteners
Developers
Hair color
Toners
Styling products
Heat-producing tools
Electrical equipment
Sharp salon tools
The demonstration is provided for educational purposes only.
You understand that Ashley’s techniques, formulas, processing times, placement, and product choices may not be appropriate for every client or situation.
You are responsible for independently assessing your clients and determining the appropriate products, techniques, formulations, processing, testing, and safety precautions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for hair damage, chemical reactions, allergic reactions, scalp reactions, burns, injury, or other outcomes resulting from your application of information learned during the class.
6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By purchasing and attending Mastering Blonding, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with participating in an in-person salon education environment.
These risks may include, but are not limited to:
Slips, trips, and falls
Cuts or punctures
Burns
Chemical exposure
Allergic or skin reactions
Eye irritation
Respiratory irritation
Use of salon tools and equipment
Heat-producing tools
Food allergies or reactions
Illness or exposure to communicable conditions
Damage to personal property
Accidental injury
Risks associated with observing or participating in demonstrations
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending and participating in the event, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
7. WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Lift Hair Academy and its owners, educators, employees, contractors, assistants, representatives, agents, affiliates, sponsors, vendors, venue owners, and service providers (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your attendance at or participation in Mastering Blonding.
This includes, to the fullest extent permitted by law, claims relating to:
Personal injury
Illness
Property damage or loss
Allergic reactions
Chemical exposure
Food or beverage consumption
Demonstration activities
Use of salon tools or equipment
Travel to or from the event
Application of educational information
Professional or financial outcomes
Loss of income
Loss of business
Loss of clients
Hair damage
Damage to personal property
Dissatisfaction with educational content
Actions or omissions of third parties
This release applies to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or release any claim or liability that cannot legally be waived or released.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lift Hair Academy and the Released Parties shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your participation in Mastering Blonding.
This includes, without limitation:
Lost profits
Lost revenue
Lost business opportunities
Lost clients
Business interruption
Professional losses
Reputational harm
Costs associated with correcting a service
Damages resulting from applying information learned during the class
Your participation in Mastering Blonding is voluntary and at your own risk.
9. INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lift Hair Academy and the Released Parties from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from or related to:
Your violation of this Agreement
Your negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct
Your application of techniques or information learned during Mastering Blonding
Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
Your professional services
Your interaction with another attendee or third party
Your misuse of Lift Hair Academy’s intellectual property
10. PRODUCT GIFT & PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS
Mastering Blonding includes a curated product gift containing products selected by Ashley and/or Lift Hair Academy.
The gift may have an approximate retail value of $150–$200, but specific products, brands, sizes, quantities, and contents may vary.
Product recommendations reflect Ashley’s personal experience and preferences.
Lift Hair Academy does not guarantee that any particular product will be appropriate for you or your clients.
You are responsible for:
Reading product labels
Following manufacturer instructions
Reviewing safety information
Performing appropriate testing
Determining product compatibility
Using products for their intended purpose
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for adverse reactions, damage, incompatibility, misuse, or other outcomes associated with third-party products.
11. FOOD & BEVERAGE
Breakfast, lunch, and/or refreshments may be provided as part of the Mastering Blonding experience.
Attendees are responsible for communicating any allergies or dietary restrictions to Lift Hair Academy in advance.
Lift Hair Academy cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
By consuming food or beverages provided during the event, you voluntarily assume responsibility for your consumption.
12. POST-CLASS VIRTUAL Q&A
Mastering Blonding includes a post-class virtual Q&A through Zoom.
The purpose of this follow-up session is to provide an opportunity to:
Revisit concepts from class
Ask follow-up questions
Troubleshoot challenges
Discuss experiences from practicing techniques
Share progress
Continue the educational conversation
Ashley’s goal is to encourage attendees to set goals, practice what they learned, implement their takeaways, and continue developing their skills, confidence, and careers after the in-person experience.
The post-class Q&A does not constitute individualized professional supervision, certification, licensing, or a guarantee of results.
Lift Hair Academy does not guarantee that every question will be answered or that individualized recommendations will be provided.
The date and time of the Q&A will be communicated by Lift Hair Academy.
13. NO GUARANTEE OF BUSINESS OR CAREER RESULTS
Mastering Blonding includes discussion of:
Social media
Content creation
Filming and editing
Portfolio development
Clientele development
PR lists
Brand relationships
Domestic and global partnerships
Business development
Ashley’s personal career experiences
Participation does not guarantee:
Increased clientele
Increased income
Business growth
Social media growth
Increased followers
PR placement
Brand partnerships
Sponsorships
Employment
Career advancement
Media exposure
Financial success
Any success stories, examples, brand relationships, or career opportunities discussed during the class represent individual experiences and are not guarantees of similar results.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All educational materials provided by Lift Hair Academy remain the intellectual property of Lift Hair Academy and/or their respective owners.
This includes:
Printed handbooks
Educational materials
Presentations
Demonstrations
Formulations
Written content
Photography
Videos
Graphics
Branding
Logos
Proprietary educational methods
Materials are provided for your personal educational use only.
You may not:
Copy or reproduce the handbook for distribution
Sell or distribute class materials
Teach LHA’s proprietary materials as your own
Create a competing course using LHA’s materials
Upload materials to another educational platform
Distribute Ashley’s proprietary formulations or educational materials
Claim LHA’s educational content as your own
Use LHA’s branding without written permission
15. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & RECORDING
Lift Hair Academy may photograph and/or record portions of Mastering Blonding for educational, promotional, social media, website, advertising, and marketing purposes.
By purchasing your seat and attending the event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other media captured during the event.
You grant Lift Hair Academy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, voice, name, and participation in connection with lawful Lift Hair Academy business, educational, promotional, and marketing purposes without compensation.
Attendees may not record, livestream, or reproduce the entire class or demonstration without written permission from Lift Hair Academy.
16. RESPECTFUL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Mastering Blonding is intentionally designed as a small, supportive, and non-intimidating learning environment.
Attendees agree to communicate and behave respectfully and professionally.
The following behavior is prohibited:
Bullying
Harassment
Threats
Intimidation
Discrimination
Inappropriate conduct
Disruptive behavior
Unwanted physical contact
Recording another attendee without permission
Sharing another attendee’s private information
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to remove an attendee whose behavior negatively affects the safety, comfort, or educational experience of others.
Removal may occur without refund to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. ATTENDANCE & REGISTRATION
Mastering Blonding is an intimate, limited-capacity experience designed for approximately 8 attendees.
Your registration is personal and may not be transferred, sold, or resold without prior written approval from Lift Hair Academy.
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or participation when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, integrity, or educational experience of the class.
18. PAYMENT, DEPOSITS, INSTALLMENTS, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
Payment Terms
Full payment or an approved installment payment plan must be completed according to the payment schedule presented at checkout.
If an installment option is selected:
The initial deposit/payment is required to reserve your seat.
All deposits and payments are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
All remaining payments must be completed within 60 days of the date the initial deposit is made.
Failure to complete all required payments within the 60-day period may result in cancellation of your registration and forfeiture of your seat.
An unpaid balance does not constitute cancellation of your registration or release you from your payment obligations.
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to deny attendance to any attendee with an outstanding balance.
Cancellation
All registrations, deposits, installment payments, and full payments are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
If you need to cancel your registration, cancellation must be submitted in writing via email AND confirmed by telephone with Lift Hair Academy.
A cancellation is not considered received or effective until both requirements have been completed and confirmed by Lift Hair Academy.
Failure to attend the class does not constitute cancellation and does not entitle you to a refund.
Refunds will not be issued for:
Change of mind
Scheduling conflicts
Work obligations
Illness
Personal emergencies
Travel difficulties
Transportation issues
Weather affecting your travel
Failure to complete installment payments
Late cancellation
Failure to attend
Late arrival
Early departure
Any other personal circumstance
Non-Transferability
Your registration is personal and may not be sold, transferred, assigned, or resold to another individual without prior written approval from Lift Hair Academy.
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to approve or deny any transfer request at its sole discretion.
19. CLASS CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING BY LIFT HAIR ACADEMY
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or cancel Mastering Blonding when reasonably necessary.
Circumstances may include:
Illness or emergency
Educator unavailability
Venue issues
Weather
Safety concerns
Public health circumstances
Insufficient enrollment
Transportation disruptions
Force majeure events
Circumstances outside Lift Hair Academy’s reasonable control
If Lift Hair Academy cancels or reschedules the class, LHA will communicate available options to registered attendees.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by attendees, including airfare, hotels, transportation, parking, rental vehicles, meals, lost wages, or other travel or personal expenses.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
20. PERSONAL PROPERTY
You are responsible for your personal belongings while attending Mastering Blonding.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced property.
21. TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION
Attendees are solely responsible for transportation to and from the event.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for travel delays, traffic, parking, missed flights, rideshare services, public transportation, hotels, rental cars, or travel-related losses or injuries.
22. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Lift Hair Academy may work with third-party venues, vendors, food providers, technology platforms, product manufacturers, photographers, or other service providers.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, services, policies, or failures of independent third parties.
23. NO PROFESSIONAL, MEDICAL, LEGAL OR FINANCIAL ADVICE
Nothing provided during Mastering Blonding constitutes medical, legal, financial, tax, regulatory, insurance, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for obtaining qualified professional advice when appropriate.
24. SOCIAL MEDIA & ATTENDEE CONTENT
Attendees may share appropriate personal experiences and content from the event.
However, attendees may not:
Livestream the class
Record the entire demonstration
Reproduce proprietary educational content
Distribute the printed handbook
Sell or teach LHA’s proprietary educational content
Misrepresent their relationship with Lift Hair Academy or Ashley
Use LHA’s branding without permission
Lift Hair Academy reserves the right to establish additional photography and recording restrictions during the event.
25. ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY
You acknowledge that the value of Mastering Blonding comes from learning, practicing, developing your professional judgment, and applying information appropriately.
You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions after the class.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for the results of your implementation of anything presented during Mastering Blonding.
26. PRIVACY POLICY & INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Lift Hair Academy respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.
By purchasing Mastering Blonding, you acknowledge and agree to the privacy practices described below.

If you provide your email address or other contact information, Lift Hair Academy may use it to send:

Lift Hair Academy updates
Future class announcements
Products or services
Promotions
Marketing communications
You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the communication.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent necessary transactional or service-related communications.
29. SHARING OF INFORMATION
Lift Hair Academy does not sell your personal information in the traditional sense.
We may share information when reasonably necessary with trusted third parties that help us operate our business, including:

33. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & LIKENESS
As described above, Lift Hair Academy may photograph, film, or record portions of Mastering Blonding.
By purchasing your seat and attending the event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, videos, audio recordings, or other media captured during the event.
You grant Lift Hair Academy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, voice, name, and participation in connection with lawful Lift Hair Academy business, educational, promotional, marketing, advertising, website, and social media purposes without compensation.
34. TESTIMONIALS & VOLUNTARY SUBMISSIONS
If you voluntarily provide Lift Hair Academy with a testimonial, review, photograph, video, feedback, comment, or other submission, you understand that it may be used by Lift Hair Academy for legitimate educational, promotional, marketing, advertising, and business purposes, subject to applicable law.
Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information that you do not want Lift Hair Academy to receive or use.
35. DATA RETENTION
Lift Hair Academy may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Complete transactions
Maintain business records
Provide services
Resolve disputes
Enforce agreements
Prevent fraud
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
Maintain legitimate business records
Protect our legal rights
When information is no longer reasonably necessary for a legitimate business or legal purpose, we may delete, destroy, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable law and our business practices.

However, no electronic storage system, website, database, transmission, or internet-connected service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Lift Hair Academy cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for security incidents caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including third-party platform vulnerabilities, cyberattacks, unauthorized access, or security failures of independent service providers.
Nothing in this section limits obligations imposed on Lift Hair Academy by applicable law.
37. DATA BREACH
If Lift Hair Academy becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information that requires notification under applicable law, we will provide notices and take other actions as required by applicable law.
38. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy laws apply to you, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information, including:

The right to request deletion of personal information
The right to obtain a portable copy of certain personal information

40. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Mastering Blonding is intended for adults and working or aspiring beauty professionals.
Lift Hair Academy does not knowingly solicit personal information from children for purposes unrelated to the services offered.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where applicable law requires parental consent or other special treatment, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
41. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES & SERVICES
Lift Hair Academy may provide links to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, payment processors, social media platforms, Zoom, product manufacturers, vendors, or other services.
Once you interact directly with a third-party platform, that third party’s terms and privacy policy may apply.
Lift Hair Academy is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of independent third parties.
42. BUSINESS TRANSFERS
If Lift Hair Academy is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, bankruptcy, or other business transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
43. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT & PRIVACY POLICY
Lift Hair Academy may update these Terms & Conditions, Waiver & Release, and Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our business practices, technology, legal requirements, or services.
The updated version may be posted on the Lift Hair Academy website or otherwise made available to customers.
The Effective Date at the beginning of this Agreement indicates when the current version became effective.
44. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, except to the extent federal law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising from or relating to Mastering Blonding or this Agreement shall be handled in accordance with applicable Colorado law.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
45. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed from this Agreement if necessary.
The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
46. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lift Hair Academy regarding your purchase and participation in Mastering Blonding and supersedes prior discussions or representations concerning the subject matter addressed herein.
47. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
PURCHASE = ACCEPTANCE
BY PURCHASING MASTERING BLONDING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:
You have read and understand this Agreement.
You voluntarily agree to participate in Mastering Blonding.
You understand that Mastering Blonding is an educational and mentorship experience, not a certification or licensing program.
You understand that results are not guaranteed.
You understand that you are responsible for your own professional judgment and actions.
You understand and voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation.
You agree to the Waiver & Release of Liability.
You agree to the Limitation of Liability and Indemnification provisions.
You understand that all sales, deposits, and payments are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
You understand that approved installment plans must be paid in full within 60 days of the initial deposit.
You understand that cancellation requires written notice via email AND telephone confirmation with Lift Hair Academy.
You understand that Lift Hair Academy does not guarantee professional, financial, social media, business, or career outcomes.
You agree to the Intellectual Property, Photography, Recording, and Content provisions.
You agree to the Privacy Policy and Data Practices described in this Agreement.
You agree to comply with the class rules and applicable laws.
You agree that your purchase constitutes your electronic acknowledgment and acceptance of this entire Agreement and that no additional signature is required.
BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE:
YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOU HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS, WAIVER & RELEASE, AND PRIVACY POLICY BEFORE PURCHASING AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
YOUR PURCHASE OF MASTERING BLONDING CONSTITUTES YOUR ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING THE ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER & RELEASE, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, INDEMNIFICATION, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, REFUND, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, PHOTOGRAPHY, AND PRIVACY PROVISIONS.
No additional signature or written consent is required.
Lift Hair Academy reserves all rights not expressly granted herein
